You can never have too many USB cables

With the cell phones, GPS systems, iPods, DSLR cameras, digital cameras and video cameras, the one thing I’ve found that you’ll always have a need for is USB cables. Most of our stuff requires mini USB, but my new phone and another one of my devices (I forget which one) uses the micro USB connector, so I hit up eBay a few weeks ago to stock up on cables. Seriously, if you need USB cables, eBay is the way to go. It should be illegal to sell a simple USB cable for $14.99 when you can get the same damn thing for like $3 on eBay. I seriously purchased three micro USB cables for $2.99 apiece (free shipping), three mini USB cables for $2.99 apiece (again, free shipping), two iPod USB cables for $4.99 apiece, and two Zune (my brothers have Zunes) USB cables for $3.99 apiece. I hate to think of what these cables would have cost me if I purchased them at a Circuit City or Best Buy or Walmart!

My favorite place for this sort of stuff is DealExtreme.com. The prices are ridiculously cheap and they have free shipping. (The down side is that it takes weeks to ship since they are coming from Hong Kong.) I’m currently eyeing this ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16008 ) as a way to avoid having a dozen different USB cables.
